Plan and deliver lessons that foster athletic skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources, including fitness training, team sports, and individual activities. Assess student progress through practical assessments, fitness tests, and written work, providing detailed feedback to support their development. Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum, integrating current sports science and training techniques, and participate in departmental planning. Organize and lead extracurricular sports activities, school teams, and sporting competitions, promoting student engagement and athletic excellence, with a focus on female participation. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong PE subject knowledge, including sports science, fitness training, and coaching, with a focus on female sports. Demonstrated experience teaching PE to A-Level, with a focus on both practical skills and theoretical understanding. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young female athletes.
