Community Integrated Care is one of the UK’s largest health and social care charities. We work hard to enrich the lives of the people we support with many different care needs. It’s exciting and rewarding work, and we’re full of pride and passion for what we do.

Since the early days, we’ve grown to provide many innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people across England and Scotland. We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity, and respect. This resonates in our vision of ‘Your Life, Your Choice’ and our strategy ‘Best Lives Possible’.

We have strong values and we’re proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over [number] national and regional awards!

We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going ‘the extra mile’ for the people we support, and in return, we invest in pay, recognition, wellbeing, and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support, and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop if you wish to grow your career with us.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

We are an award-winning home, having won at The Great British Care Awards, as well as the We Dare Awards. We live in a beautiful residential home with a lovely garden where we spend a lot of time. We love to be busy and support people with a range of needs from complex learning disabilities and autism to physical disabilities. Our established staff team knows us well, is trained, and familiar with our routines.

* In [year], we started a large garden project that transformed our outdoor space, which we cherish and enjoy during BBQ season.
* We love taking photos and creating memory books.
* We are adaptable, flexible, enthusiastic, and positive, supporting each other as a team.
* We support people to access community facilities and engage in person-centered activities, always exploring new options.
* We enjoy swimming, with one of us going most days!

Your values:

We recognize that working in social care requires a special person. Not everyone suitable for this role will have professional experience, which is why we're passionate about recruiting based on individuals’ values and we recruit people from all walks of life. This includes those with experience as support workers or care assistants, those with lived experiences, or even those with no experience at all.

It is also important that you share our company values - We Include; We Deliver; We Aspire; We Respect; We Enable - which underpin all our work and ensure high-quality, consistent care and support. We look for qualities such as:

* Patience
* Empathy, compassion, and sensitivity
* A strong work ethic
* Reliability
* Honesty
* Determination
* Problem-solving skills
* Resilience
