Skilled Vehicle Technician Required in Chelmsford, Essex:
Our client is seeking a highly capable and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their established auto service team in Chelmsford.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated motor trade professional looking to progress within a reputable dealership. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in delivering quality service to customers while working in a supportive and professional environment.

1. Competitive basic salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
2. Monday to Friday working hours from 8.30am to 5.30pm with a one-hour lunch break
3. Standard company pension scheme
4. Holiday entitlement of 22 days plus bank holidays, with options to increase holidays for experienced technicians, up to a maximum of 25 days
Duties of the Vehicle Technician role include:
5. Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues with precision
6. Performing scheduled maintenance and service work in accordance with manufacturer standards
7. Conducting vehicle inspections and quality checks to ensure high standards
8. Advising customers on necessary repairs and recommended maintenance
9. Keeping accurate records of work completed and parts used
10. Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:
11. Proven experience as a Service Technician or higher, with relevant skills and expertise
12. Full driving licence essential
13. Own toolkit required for the role
14. Qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
15. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
16. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
