Legal Support Administrator St Albans – Office Based | £25,000 - £30,000 Are you a detail-oriented administrator with a passion for delivering exceptional client service? We’re working with a well-regarded law firm in St Albans who are looking for a Legal Support Administrator to join their busy and supportive team. In this full-time, office-based role, you'll play a vital part in supporting the Private Client and Residential Property departments. You’ll be responsible for onboarding new clients, managing compliance checks, and assisting with new business enquiries — all while helping to ensure a consistent and high-quality client experience. Key Responsibilities Open and close files (electronic and physical) in line with firm policies Handle new client onboarding: verify ID, input data, complete AML and conflict checks Prepare and issue client care documents and terms of service Support legal teams by flagging any compliance issues during file opening Maintain accurate client and contact databases Respond to internal and external queries in a timely, professional manner Take new enquiries via phone, email, website or in person Support Private Client team with administrative tasks Provide general assistance to the wider support team where required Essential Skill Previous legal secretarial, administrative or office-based experience Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills Comfortable working to deadlines and managing multiple tasks Friendly and confident communicator – both written and verbal Tech-savvy with experience using case or practice management systems (desirable) Knowledge of legal compliance or AML processes is a plus Package £25,000 - £30,000 Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm St Albans – Office Based Supportive culture Excellent benefits and progression opportunities
