The Role
* Hold a significant corporate tax portfolio, covering advisory and compliance across corporate groups, owner-managed businesses, and private equity backed companies.
* Lead on complex advisory mandates including group tax planning, international tax matters, and transactional support for the corporate finance team.
* Develop the Gloucestershire tax team, providing technical leadership and supporting the career progression of managers and seniors.
* Play an active role in business development and the firm's growth in the local and regional market.
* Work closely with Partners to shape the strategic direction and service delivery of the corporate tax function.
About You
* Qualified (CTA, ACA, or ACCA) with a proven track record in corporate tax at Director or Senior Manager level in a practice environment.
* Strong advisory background, with experience in technical areas such as restructuring, R&D, and M&A tax highly valued.
* A senior professional with the relationship skills to lead a growing client base and build a high-performing team around them.
* Commercially minded and capable of identifying opportunities to add value to clients beyond standard compliance.
* A credible presence in the local business community with the drive to contribute to the firm's outward facing profile.
