Salary: £34,501.50
The main purpose of this role is to assist in the day to day management of the fleet ensuring that the entire fleet remains fully compliant and that the undertakings on our operator’s licence and consistently upheld.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Communicate with drivers, staff, customers, and suppliers in a professional and timely manner
- Take ownership and responsibility for the fleet service planner and ensure that all Vehicles and Trailers have a rolling 12-month plan for all Maintenance requirements
- Maintain up to date records with regards to Vehicle and Trailer maintenance in line with DSVA standards.
- Assist in the management of Driver defect reporting ensuring that all reported defects are rectified in an appropriate time scale.
- Analyse trends and patters in vehicle defects reporting findings back to Transport Compliance Manager.
- Obtain authorisation for and raise all fleet maintenance related Purchase orders.
- Analyse trends and patters in Vehicle repair spend and report back to Transport Compliance manager to ensure that vehicle repair spend remains in line with financial budget.

What we are looking for?
- The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of fleet maintenance and worked in a transport environment previously.
- You must be computer literate and comfortable with the daily user of Microsoft Excel.
- Great communication is essential to be effective in this role.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40hours
