We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team in the North West / North London / Hertfordshire, installing, servicing, and repairing lifts.
Key Responsibilities
* Insurance inspections – Attending sites, examining a wide variety of lifting equipment, and issuing detailed reports to clients.
* Condition surveys – Surveying existing plant to provide reports on the incumbent service provider's service delivery, compliance with current Health & Safety legislation, Disability Discrimination Act compliance, and short-, medium-, and long-term lift lifecycle analysis.
* Providing overview reports outlining options for refurbishment of existing installations or replacement with new pre-engineered modular design solutions.
* Equipment audits – Carrying out visual surveys of existing installations to benchmark them against predetermined quality expectations and producing reports.
* Maintenance audits – Providing professional advice on the incumbent service provider's performance and service delivery, supported by written reports.
* Travelling independently to attend customer sites and premises as required.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of lift products and accessories.
* Completing test certificates and associated documentation accurately and on time.
* Adhering to Health & Safety regulations at all times.
* Working in a methodical, efficient, and professional manner while delivering excellent customer service.
* Carrying out other reasonable duties as required by senior management.

* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
* NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience carrying out lift service and maintenance inspections.
* Experience diagnosing and repairing a variety of lift systems independently.
* Experience working autonomously in a customer-facing role.
* Good written and spoken English.
* Strong understanding of current Health & Safety procedures and standards.
* Full UK driving licence.
