About the role
Our Welfare Services division hires a range of portable chemical toilets and ADA approved wheelchair access units alongside mobile eco welfare units. The Driver Labourer is based in the depot and is responsible for keeping the workshop and yard areas clean and tidy, ensuring areas are clear of hazards, and tools are stored away correctly. The role includes ensuring any equipment leaving the depot is pressure cleaned and the fuel logs are updated accurately. It also involves loading, delivering and collecting hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner. On customer sites there may be a requirement to demonstrate hire equipment and complete all relevant checks and administration. The role includes service, cleaning and maintenance of portable toilets and welfare units.
Responsibilities
* Keep workshop and yard areas clean, tidy and free of hazards; store tools correctly.
* Ensure equipment leaving the depot is pressure cleaned and fuel logs are updated accurately.
* Load, deliver and collect hire equipment to and from customer sites in a timely and professional manner.
* On customer sites, demonstrate hire equipment and complete all relevant checks and administration.
* Service, clean and maintain portable toilets and welfare units as required.
About You
Successful candidates should demonstrate the following:
* Previous experience working in a labourer role
* Strong team player who is willing to support colleagues with additional tasks when required
* Ability to work on own initiative in a fast-paced depot environment with high attention to detail
* Full driving licence essential; CSCS card and forklift licence preferable
