Position – Water Hygiene Technician, (Or Junior) Location – Swindon Salary/Package - £25,396 - £30,000 (DOE), Custom Van, Fuel Card, Out of Hours - £145, Pension, Quarterly Bonus %, & more. Company A UK-based specialist in water quality and Legionella compliance services, primarily for pools, spas, schools, colleges, leisure sites, and commercial premises. LCA‑registered and compliant with HSE’s ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidance, with a strong reputation for professionalism and rapid response across school and leisure sectors *We absolutely would consider a trainee. Responsibilities Conduct Water Temperature Testing, Monitoring, & Sampling Shower-head descales Cold Water Storage Tank Inspections Clean & Disinfection of CWST Failsafe’s/TMV Servicing (Occasionally) Superb representation, able to Interact, customer facing. Have the confidence to offer recommendations/referrals. Must have or hold Full UK Licence Able to pass an enhanced DBS Check Confidence liaising with Clients Desirable Minimum 2 years Water Hygiene experience, ideally involving Legionella, TMV, and microbiological sampling. Working knowledge or formal training in ACOP L8 and HSG274 parts 1, 2, and 3. City & Guilds qualifications in Temperature Monitoring / Sampling, TMV Servicing, or Cleaning & Disinfection (or equivalent) Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing or equivalent. Progression through the company is possible, with in-depth experience of the role being an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided where required We are looking for a conscientious, reliable person capable of working on their own and as part of a team.
