The Role: Audit Senior
As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in leading assignments, managing client relationships, and supporting junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver external audit assignments from planning through to completion
* Prepare and review statutory accounts in line with UK accounting standards
* Manage day-to-day client communication and build strong relationships
* Supervise, mentor, and review work completed by junior staff
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and added-value advisory work
* Ensure compliance with UK auditing standards and regulatory requirements
About You: Skills & Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* ACCA or ACA qualified (essential)
* Minimum 3+ years’ UK accountancy practice experience, with a strong focus on external audit
* Proven experience of managing audits for a range of clients
* Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines effectively
* Experience using audit and accounting software (e.g. CCH, CaseWare, Xero, Sage) is advantageous
