KPI Recruiting are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our client’s extensive kitchen team in Nantwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious chef to take the next step in their career, working within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and service
Maintain food hygiene, safety standards, and portion control
Supervise and support junior kitchen staff, including training and development
Assist with menu planning, stock management, and minimising waste
Take the lead in the absence of the Executive Chef or Sous Chef
Support catering for buffets, conferences, and special events
What We’re Looking For:
Previous professional kitchen experience (educational/catering background desirable)
Strong knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP procedures
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Organised, reliable, and able to work under pressure
A strong team player with excellent communication skills
Enhanced DBS Check required
