Here at CG Fire & Security, we're seeking a Special Risk Engineer to join our team based in the South East.
You'll be working as a member of our Operations Field Service Team where your expertise in Special Risks Equipment and products will be fully utilised. Your up-to-date knowledge of legislative standards will be called upon to ensure compliance and safety. It's a great time to join us as we continue to see our business grow.
What we offer:
We're looking to offer a salary of between £28,000-£29,000 for this role and are open to candidates of various levels. In addition, we offer other benefits we'd be happy to tell you about.
Key areas of responsibility:
1. You'll be carrying out routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs and installation of Special Risk Equipment and products in line with current legislation and company standards.
2. You'll carry out PPM, reactive calls and Small Works, again, in line with legislation and company standards.
3. Manage, when required, the organization of one's own work program to promote efficiency and complete all necessary reports, documentation and records in a timely manner and to the required standard.
4. Be fully compliant with site H&S requirements at all times.
Experience required for the role:
Previous, quantitative experience of working in a similar role in the Fire & Security Industry. Up to date knowledge of H&S legislation and guidelines. Be self-managed, diligent, and safety-conscious bringing your wealth of technical knowledge to meet customer requirements. Strong communication skills both written and verbal are required along with the agreement to partake in training when required.
