We're SRFACE, a fast-growing European wetsuit brand building high-end products sold direct-to-consumer. Our campaigns are rooted in real surf culture, not stock aesthetics.
We're looking for a freelance Video Editor for a long-term collaboration.
This is not a generic editing role. Understanding surf culture and its aesthetics is essential. If surf feels like "just another niche," this won't be the right fit.
What you'll edit:
Vertical cut-downs for Reels, TikTok and Shorts
Performance-driven paid social edits
Cinematic surf campaign films
Documentary-style surf content
We're looking for someone who:
Deeply understands surf culture, rhythm and authenticity
Has strong instinct for pacing and narrative flow
Knows how to make content feel native to social platforms
Has strong music selection and sound design sense
Can color grade professionally (DaVinci preferred)
Works fast without losing taste
This will start with a small paid test project:
1 vertical campaign cut-down
1 short-form performance variation
If the fit is strong, this becomes ongoing collaboration across campaigns.
To apply, please send:
3 of your strongest edits
1 surf-related edit (if available)
Your primary tools (Premiere, DaVinci, etc.)
A short note on your connection to surf culture
Your typical project or day rate
Bonus: Tell us what makes a surf edit feel authentic versus commercial.
We're looking for someone who understands the difference between content that gets skipped and content that gets shared.
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: Video Editing, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Video Post-Editing, Short-Form Video, Sound Design, DaVinci Resolve, Color Grading, Social Media Video
