We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, overseeing both front-of-house and back-of-house activities. Responsibilities
* Assist the General Manager in daily operations, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction are consistently met
* Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels efficiently.
* Implement training programmes for new staff, focusing on hospitality standards and operational procedures.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
* Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring resolutions are achieved promptly.
Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality sector, preferably in a hotel or restaurant setting.
* Strong culinary background with hands-on experience in food production and kitchen management.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
* Excellent organisational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* A solid understanding of hospitality principles, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency.
