MIG Welder
We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder for our client based in Ivybridge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, particularly working with stainless steel. TIG welding experience is desirable but not mandatory.
Initally required for 3 – 6 months, with a potential for the role to become permanent.
Salary from £32k – open to discussion based on experience.
Responsibilities
* Perform MIG welding on stainless steel components, ensuring high-quality welds.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals.
* Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
* Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
Requirements
* Previous experience in MIG welding, with a focus on stainless steel.
* Familiarity with TIG welding techniques (desirable).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Excellent communication skills.
