Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic MOT & Stores Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all ATF MOT bookings are allocated to the correct Account Holders
* Ensure all Company vehicles are booked in to the ATF MOT bookings accordingly
* Ensure all MOT bookings are completed and updated for Class 4, 5, and 7 vehicles
* Invoice customers for all MOTs that are processed and chase for payments
* Book in voluntary brake and headlight tests
* Update fuel records
* Issue fuel keys and keep accurate records of who they have been issued to
* Book all appointments for Tachograph reader units to be repaired, replaced, or serviced
* Arrange all calibration dates for the ATF lane and file certificates
* Keep accurate records of parts in the stores
* Allocate parts to vehicles when they are used
* Stock checking items in stores
* Liaising with suppliers to gain the best prices for parts
* Invoicing for retail work and chase payments
* Compiling reports for the Fleet Engineer
* Build and maintain positive relationships with all employees to encourage them to work with the Engineering Department.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure completion of work
* Completing ad hoc projects to support the smooth running of the Engineering Department.
* Any other duties as directed by your line manager.

· Ability to work with, and learn, systems e.g. VMS
· Excellent customer service skills
· Time management skills
· Flexibility
· Excellent IT skills i.e. Word, Excel
* GCSE English, Maths, and Science
* PCV licence is desirable
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,420.00-£32,319.47 per year
