Known for our premium quality, personalised products and iconic luxury gift boxes, we are expanding our physical retail presence to complement our thriving eCommerce business. We operate pop-up style concessions within prestigious department stores, offering live in-store personalisation.
Role Overview
This role is responsible for driving commercial and operational success across all existing and future retail concession stores. You will own the merchandising and product planning per store, ensure compelling product selection and VM execution, manage end-to-end project management of store launches, including design and contractor coordination, ensuring each site is delivered on time, on budget and in keeping with our brand experience. Once open, you’ll continue to oversee the operational and sales performance of each store and deliver excellence in customer data capture and P&L accountability. You must have strong project and stakeholder management skills and a creative flair for retail theatre and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Store Performance & Merchandising
* Manage and optimise sales, stock mix and profitability at current store concessions and all future store openings.
* Plan seasonal stock assortments and product allocations in collaboration with Merchandising and Buying teams.
* Select and push winning product lines per location based on sales, trends and footfall and identify growth opportunities.
* Maintain high-quality visual merchandising standards and plan seasonal store refreshes.
* Monitor daily, weekly and monthly store sales, providing actionable insights and reporting to the wider business
2. Store Launches & Fit Outs
* End-to-end project management of all store launches across UK and international markets.
* Coordinate store design processes, including technical drawings, contractors and installation (Creative Director signs off).
* Oversee the installation of equipment and stock setup
* Manage timelines, budgets, fit-outs, stock planning and operational readiness
* Coordinate store launch campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team
* Implement and optimise POS systems with a focus on fast checkout and customer data collection.
* Drive store-level CRM strategies by capturing data and enabling marketing incentives.
* Innovate in-store experience to enhance brand theatre.
4. Retail Expansion & Property
* Identify new store and concession opportunities in the UK and internationally.
* Build business cases for new locations, inclusive of P&L modelling and ROI justification.
* Lead property search and develop relationships with landlords and mall operators.
* Negotiate retail concession terms, including store commissions or lease basics.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* 5+ years’ experience in retail operations with exposure to merchandising, buying and visual merchandising.
* Strong knowledge of concession models and experience negotiating with retail landlords.
* Demonstrated ability to manage store P&Ls and build commercial business cases.
* Experience overseeing store fit-outs, including managing technical drawings and contractors.
* Creative thinker who can bring theatrical storytelling and brand immersion into retail spaces.
* Commercially savvy with strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
* Technologically confident with CRM, POS and retail analytics tools.
* Flexible to travel frequently within the UK and internationally.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Uplift in like-for-like store sales and margin.
* Gross profit per square foot by store.
* CRM data capture and campaign conversion per store.
* Store project delivery on time and on budget.
* Visual merchandising compliance and refresh cadence.
* Number and quality of new location launches.
