We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead to join a well-established elderly and dementia care service in the Whitehaven area. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident nurse leader to take on a part-time role combining hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities.
About the Role:
The position includes a mix of clinical and leadership duties:
* One 12-hour nursing shift (days 6:45am–7:00pm or nights 6:45pm–7:00am)
* Two 6-hour Clinical Lead shifts (9:00am–3:00pm)
You’ll work alongside the Home Manager to ensure outstanding standards of care, lead and mentor the nursing team, and uphold clinical excellence throughout the home.
Requirements:
* NMC Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) – essential
* Experience in elderly or dementia care settings
* Proven leadership or senior nurse experience
* Strong understanding of CQC regulations and best practice
* Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
