The Role
As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with our Head Chef
and Sous team to help drive the kitchen forward. This is a hands-on leadership
role where you’ll develop your management skills while continuing to cook great
food every day.
You’ll be responsible for:
* Supporting
the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
* Helping
maintain the high standards Ox Club is known for
* Leading
sections during service and supporting the wider team
* Training
and developing junior chefs and commis
* Assisting
with ordering, stock control and minimising waste
* Contributing
ideas to seasonal menu development
* Ensuring
food safety, cleanliness and organisation are always on point
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for a strong Chef de Partie ready to
step up or an existing Junior Sous looking for a new challenge.
