* PGCE with QTS required

English Teacher | Job Description
* Teach English Language and Literature across KS3-KS5, delivering well-structured and engaging lessons
* Play a key role in curriculum planning, ensuring all lessons align with our Big Ideas framework:
o Literature: Context, Change, Power, Identity, Relationships, Social Responsibility
o Language: Perspective & Purpose, Vocabulary, Inference, Structure, Effect on Reader, Techniques, Compare & Contrast
* Help students prepare for GCSE and A-Level exams, ensuring strong results in key texts like Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, Animal Farm, and An Inspector Calls
* Support the department with targeted interventions and enrichment opportunities
* Work closely with a dedicated team of teachers who are committed to delivering a high-quality English education
