Introduction
As a preferred supplier, Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and safety-focused HGV Class 2 Driver to support scaffold operations in Swansea.
This role combines professional driving duties with hands-on support in a scaffolding environment and requires a valid CISRS trade qualification as either a Scaffolder or Scaffold Labourer.
Key Duties
Safely operate and drive Class 2 (Category C) vehicles delivering scaffold materials to commercial and industrial sites.
Assist scaffolders with manual handling, loading, unloading, and organising equipment on vehicles and on site.
Work as part of a scaffolding crew, following all site safety procedures and supporting erecting or dismantling operations (within CISRS scope).
Carry out daily vehicle checks, ensuring compliance with transport regulations and company standards.
Maintain accurate delivery records and site paperwork, communicating effectively with logistics and scaffold teams.
Uphold high standards of health and safety in challenging site environments and adverse weather conditions.
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Current CISRS qualification (Scaffolder or Scaffold Labourer).
Experience in a physically demanding construction or scaffolding environment.
Strong awareness of transport and on-site safety requirements.
Positive, reliable attitude with the ability to work as part of a team.
What We Offer
£16.00 per hour PAYE or £19.00 per hour Umbrella.
Monday-Friday working pattern with 6am-7am start times.
