We are on the lookout for an Area Sales Representative to grow and manage a designated region, driving our success forward.
Job Description:
As our Area Sales Representative, you will be the driving force behind our sales efforts, engaging with both current and potential customers. Your expertise will help us maximize profitability and expand our market share by providing technical insights into our products and services.
Responsibilities:
* Market Engagement: Generate high-quality sales leads, identify customer needs, win new clients, and nurture existing relationships. Focus on achieving significant market share gains with a 70% emphasis on new business and 30% on account management.
* Sales Plan Development: Create and execute a strategic Sales Plan for your territory. Utilize digital platforms, manage lapsed accounts, and prepare quotes and technical presentations. Attend marketing events and maintain accurate records while contributing to sales forecasts.
* Receivables Management: Ensure timely collection of payments from your customer base.
* Collaboration: Build effective working relationships with Technical Operations, Applications, Finance, and other teams to ensure high-quality proposals and services for our customers.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* Relevant sales experience in the industrial services or rental business.
* A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Experience in contract negotiation.
* Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Product knowledge in generators or related technical products, along with market awareness of the rental industry.
* Demonstrated success in achieving market share growth and maintaining customer satisfaction.
