On behalf of a well established and reputable specialist building services provider, Branta Recruitment is seeking an ambitious Project Manager to oversee high-value compliance and commissioning projects across the North of England.
This is a unique opportunity for an operations-focused leader who thrives on autonomy. Our client specialises in HVAC & Commissioning, Water Treatment, and Fire Damper testing.
They are looking for a manager who wants to take true ownership of their area of expertise and drive the commercial and operational success of the business.
The Role
This is a dual-focus role combining technical project management with commercial bid development. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of building services contracts.
Key Responsibilities:

Project & Operations: Full responsibility for planning, project preparation, and on-site management.

Commercial & Tendering: Lead bid management and estimating.
*
Technical Compliance: Oversight of Technical Writing, O&M coordination, and the preparation of Health & Safety files.
*
Business Growth: Research new client opportunities and ensure all proposals align with the high standards of the company brand.
Requirements:

Technical Background: We are looking for someone with Building Services Engineering qualifications or significant experience managing an engineering-led business.
*
Safety Credentials: CSCS Card and a Full UK Driving License are essential. SMSTS, IOSH, or PTS qualifications are strongly preferred.

Leadership: Proven ability to manage various operational teams and multiple projects simultaneously. You must be a strong motivator who can develop a skilled workforce.
*
Commercial Acumen: Competent in problem-solving, bid management, and maintaining direct, effective relationships with a diverse client base.
