The role
An established law firm in Wakefield is looking to recruit an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy Residential Property team. This role would suit someone with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a conveyancing support role, who is confident handling the usual day-to-day duties involved in assisting on residential property matters. The Role You will support fee earners with a busy conveyancing caseload and assist with the smooth progression of matters from instruction through to post-completion. Duties will include: - General conveyancing assistant support - Assisting with exchanges and completions - Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors - Preparing correspondence and documentation - Opening and progressing files - Dealing with basic sale enquiries About You The successful candidate will: - Have at least 3 years’ experience as a Conveyancing Assistant - Be confident carrying out the usual duties of a busy conveyancing support role - Have strong organisational and communication skills - Be able to work well in a fast-paced team environment - Be proactive, reliable and client-focused What’s on Offer - Opportunity to join a busy law firm in Wakefield - Salary entirely negotiable depending on experience - Supportive team environment - Good long-term prospects for the right person Interested?
