Job overview

Do you thrive in a fast-moving environment, whilst maintaining a high level of customer service? If so, due to internal promotion we have an opportunity for you to join our procurement team at Dorset County Hospital where you will support coordinate the day-to-day purchase to pay (P2P) activity to ensure goods and services are available for use in patient care.

This post is part of Procurement service that will transfer to another Dorset NHS Trust in the next few months. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation committed to NHS values and putting patients first.

Education, Qualifications & Training


Essential criteria

* Full UK driving licence with ability to travel


Desirable criteria

* Good basic education to GCSE standard or equivalent
* Relevant training in Procurement & Supply


Experience


Essential criteria

* Previous experience of busy office
* Dealing with customers at all levels


Desirable criteria

* Experience of Microsoft Word & Excel


Skills & Abilities


Essential criteria

* Effective communication skills displaying tact
* Team player
* Ability to prioritise work load, working under pressure, to deadlines
* A proven track record of excellent attention to detail

* Self-motivated with the ability to work using own initiative with no direct supervision
