Senior Corporate Commercial Solicitor / Junior Partner Location: Northampton Salary: £60,000 (DOE) Full-time | Career Progression | Legal 500 Recognised Team An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Commercial Solicitor (ideally 6 PQE) or Junior Partner to join a well-established and thriving Corporate & Commercial team based in Northampton. You’ll be joining one of the region’s largest commercial law practices – recognised in the Legal 500 and consistently ranked for both the quality of work and client care. This is a genuinely strategic opportunity for a driven lawyer who’s looking to move into a leadership role or build on existing partnership experience. The Role: You’ll advise a varied client base from local businesses to national corporates across a full spectrum of corporate commercial work, including: Mergers, acquisitions & disposals Succession planning Employee share schemes (EMIs, EBTs, EOTs) Restructuring & demergers Commercial contracts & franchising Finance agreements Corporate governance documents (Shareholders' Agreements, Articles, Partnership Agreements) You will play a vital role in shaping the future of the team, mentoring junior lawyers and collaborating across departments. There’s also a strong emphasis on business development, so an entrepreneurial mindset and confidence in networking are key. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Solicitor (6 PQE) with solid corporate commercial experience Strong drafting and analytical skills Commercial acumen and client-focused approach A confident communicator, capable of managing complex deals Ability to supervise and inspire junior team members A proactive and positive attitude to business development Why Join?
