An exciting opportunity has arisen within Shropshire Community Health Trust to appoint enthusiastic Bank Health Visitors to join the Dudley Health Visiting service. The team is dedicated to delivering the universal, targeted and specialist elements of the Healthy Child Programme and early preventative interventions. Our bank health visitors play an important part in our teams to support this delivery to our children and families.

Our forward thinking innovative and dynamic Healthy Child programme 0-5 service supports health and wellbeing programmes for all children and young people living in the Dudley Borough. We are looking for a motivated individual with experience of working with children, young people and families. You should have the ability to lead and work within a skill mixed team and deliver allocated components of the Healthy Child Programme. The post holders will have a lead role within maximising the health of children, families and the community.
Your role will require you to work in partnership with partner agencies and providers, to promote and enhance the health and well-being of children and families. You must be able to meet the travel requirements of the post.
Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust provides community-based health services for adults and children in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, Dudley and some services in surrounding areas too. These range from district nursing, health visiting and running four community hospitals through to providing very specialist community care through talented and dedicated staff.
