ABOUT THIS ROLE: Planning and overseeing incoming and outgoing deliveries. Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software SAP, including transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods. Managing inventory control, warehouse, distribution, replenishment plans and on-going supplier relationships. This role requires extensive communication with various functions within the business including Warehouse, Production, procurement and Technical. It requires an eye for detail and ability to organise and manage the ordering processes for the business as well as the supplier relationships. Responsibilities include: Scheduling of short-term production plans to meet customer demands To create and maintain production orders / documents within the ERP system Call off raw materials and packaging from external warehousing via the system to meet production schedule Oversee total supply chain management from front end buying, planning and end logistics to customer Liaise with suppliers regarding material availability, lead times and faulty goods Raise POs for TPP / packaging materials / ingredients Manage Weekly rolling raw and packaging material requirements (long lead time and container forecasting. Place weekly orders and maintain supplier contract balances. Spot week raw material purchases. Arrange roasting of raw materials with third party contractors in line with planning Manage all works order receipts and stock transfer to ensure all invoicing up to date New product implementations complete BOM setup and timeline to ensure new product launches/amendments/customer specials run smoothly through all processed of Logistics in SAP/Excel procedures including Sap setup, pallet configurations, customer case codes, logistics checks, SAP bill of material/mix sheet authorisation. Review and approve invoices from warehouse, logistics and third party roasting partners Liaising with various functions within the business including Warehouse, Technical, Finance and Production Inventory management : Manage inventory movements and accuracy / Conduct periodic stock takes on site / identify discrepancies & arrange stock reconciliation where necessary / manage aged stock Forward capacity planning in line with customer forecasts to maintain finished goods stock for all customers to satisfy a 100% service level Maintain and control stock of raw materials, ingredients and packaging stocks to keep production running 100% at all times, Ingredient forecasting and ordering Work with current transport and storage partners to improve supply chain and make savings Skills: Proven experience as a Production scheduler / planner SAP B1 experience Strong planning and organisation skills with attention to detail Excellent computer skills including Microsoft & Google packages Strong communication skills Customer orientated and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters Able to work as an individual and part of a team Strong analytical skills to collect, process and interpret data Strong problem-solving skills to navigate the complexities of supply chain
