Job Description
* Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding and approvals.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
* Manage payment runs and ensure timely processing of payments.
* Maintain accurate and organised records of accounts payable activities.
* Assist with month-end closing and reporting tasks.
* Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
* Collaborate with internal departments to address payment-related queries.
* Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Coordinator should have:
* Experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
* Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and suppliers.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
