This Cover Supervisor role is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience or those with previous experience working with young people in an educational setting. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher. As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classroom behaviour, ensure pupils remain engaged and maintain a positive learning environment throughout the school day. Key Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor: Supervising classes and delivering pre-set work. Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Ensuring pupils remain on task and engaged in learning. Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons. Supporting pupils with questions related to the work set. Promoting a safe and positive learning environment. The Ideal Cover Supervisor Will: Have previous experience working with young people or within a school setting. Be confident leading a classroom independently. Have strong communication and behaviour management skills. Be adaptable, proactive and professional.
