We are looking for motivated individuals with a willingness and enthusiasm to learn, who are excited to join theResearch & Development function to carry out a range of operational and logistical activities in a dynamic environmentrequiredto support the delivery of medicine to clinical trial patients. No prior experience isrequiredas you will be given full training.

Ienjoy the varied role fromsupportingthe warehouse leadership team by capturing and optimising the data, reporting back on trends or patterns,picking and putting away goodsin thewarehouseandcapturinginventory and capacity management data which is relayed to the senior leadership team toidentify challenges and solutions. Safety is a hugepriorityandI’minvolved in planning and ensuring safety actions are being completed. The warehouse is a high-paced environment, andI like thatthere’sare always opportunities to take on further projects depending on your area of interest.’

Education required:

3. Must have/be predicted three A levels at CCC or above or equivalent

4. GCSE Mathematics and English (grade A*-C / 9-4) or equivalent

Language requirement:Written and spoken fluency in English

Duration:4years

Location:You will rotate betweenHarlow and Ware sitesduringthis apprenticeship. You must live within a 60-minute commute of the site location on the day you start your apprenticeship as you are expected to be on site daily.

What will you do?

5. Learn and apply the best practices in inventory management, demand and supply planning andlogisticsoperational activities

6. Coordinate the end-to-end supply chain process from sourcing and procurement, label creation, packaging, distribution and delivery of materials and medicines, including warehousing

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensurea timelyand smooth flow of medicines and materials, meeting customerdemandsand regulatory requirements

8. Plan and execute operational activities such as production scheduling, packaging, and labeling

9. Use data for analysis and reporting to support decision making and process optimization

10. Contributetoimplementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency

11. Participate in projects related to sustainability, cost reduction, and process improvement

Expected Start date:September 2026
