If you are looking for a new role or even extra shifts we can help with this, we are recruiting in the Glasgow area for HGV drivers/Class 1 with 2 years experience trunking.
Role Overview
You will play an essential role within the branch helping to be the largest distributor of pharmaceutical and healthcare products. As a HGV driver you will be a key team member providing first class customer experience at all times, giving customers compelling reasons to return to our client by providing an effective, efficient and safe delivery service to your local community. Together we can continue to offer an efficient, safe and vital healthcare service to our customers.
Accountabilities
1. Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of pharmaceutical and healthcare products in accordance with the procedures as outlined in the AAH Drivers Manual.
2. Ensure that any difficult situations/complaints are escalated appropriately to ensure that we continuously improve the level of service to our customers
3. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Delivery Driver instructions at all times
4. Maintain strict confidentiality of both company and patient information as required by the Data Protection Act and in line with the Delivery Drivers Instructions
5. Comply with all health and safety regulations Customer first
6. Ensure excellent customer experience is provided at all times
7. Build effective working relationships with colleagues, patients and other healthcare professionals
8. Provide the most effective and supportive service for each individual customer, both internal and external Accountability
9. Ensure that all the administration related to collections, deliveries and returned products are done within company guidelines
10. Ensure no stock or patient data is left in the vehicle overnight
11. Ensure that the vehicle is clean and roadworthy in accordance with the Drivers Guide Confidentiality
12. Ensure the safety of company stock and cash adhering to the correct procedures at all times
13. Complete driver risk assessments and provide license and vehicle details as required
14. Ensure that all products are handled in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures and Delivery Guide
15. Take personal responsibility to understand the KPIs and your role in delivering the objectives
16. Ensure that you remain up to date with all key branch and company messages
17. Take accountability to understand company policies and procedures Respect
18. Maintain a professional personal appearance at all times in Company uniform (where provided) and with Company ID
19. Work as a key member of the team and build effective working relationships with colleagues
20. Assist with new starter and colleague training
21. To 'Live the Values’ on a day-to-day basis in your role Excellence
22. Take personal responsibility to complete all required training and ongoing personal
development
23. Inform your line manager of any areas you identify for quality and process improvements
within the branch
24. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures within the branch to ensure compliance with
statutory requirements of all regulatory bodies, current Good Distribution Practice including
being compliant with mandatory training and MHRA guidance and to retain the branch ISO
quality accreditation ensuring all training is kept up to date.
