The Role
Education World is seeking an outstanding Year 6 Teacher for a well-established primary school in Nottingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Year 6 Teacher who can lead a class with confidence, prepare pupils for SATs, and work within a supportive KS2 team. This Year 6 Teacher role in Nottingham is ideal for an experienced practitioner looking for a full-time, long-term position starting in September.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with recent experience as a Year 6 Teacher.
* Proven track record in planning and delivering SATs preparation.
* Excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom leadership skills.
* A collaborative Year 6 Teacher who can mentor colleagues and contribute positively to the school.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching as a Year 6 Teacher in Nottingham, leading pupils through the final stage of KS2.
* Prepare pupils for SATs and ensure a smooth transition to secondary education.
* Monitor pupil progress and deliver targeted interventions where needed.
* Uphold high standards of behaviour and achievement in the Year 6 Teacher classroom.
