TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATOR – Traffic office This varied role will involve actively engaging with our employees and customers to provide administration support to managers/planners responsible for the depot. Previous experience in a busy transport /manufacturing operation would be beneficial but not essential; General administrative duties including, but not limited to; Data Input and use of computer systems Production of appropriate documentation Customer liaison by phone and Email Booking in deliveries with customers Despatch of drivers Dealing with driver sheets, pay sheets and queries Report generation and assorted administrative tasks. Printing of documentation/pod/manifest Production of reports Query handling Filing Daily face to face customer interaction – management & warehouse personnel Liaise with company service providers to ensure vehicle maintenance standards are met Provide updates on collections & deliveries to the client Undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required Person Spec · Good attention to detail · Ability to stay calm under pressure · Methodical and thorough approach to work, Organised · Good at juggling tasks and prioritising · Great team player · Ability to work under own initiative · Competent in standard PC suites i.e.; office, excel, outlook · Previous administration experience desirable.
