About the role
Dunalastair Hotel Suites in stunning Kinloch Rannoch is looking for a confident, hands-on Reception Manager to lead our small front office team and deliver a consistently exceptional 5-star guest experience.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys being visible on the floor, setting standards, supporting the team, and ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and seamless stay.
Key responsibilities
Lead reception/front office operations to a 5-star luxury hospitality standard Manage the full guest journey: check-in/check-out, guest requests, VIP arrivals, and service recovery Plan and manage rotas to ensure strong coverage across evenings and weekends Train, coach, and develop a small team (onboarding, standards, performance support) Handle escalated guest feedback and complaints calmly, professionally, and quickly Ensure accurate billing, payments, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliation Use HOP PMS for reservations, guest profiles, payments, and reporting Coordinate daily with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B to keep operations aligned Maintain excellent front desk presentation, organisation, and compliance What were looking for
Essential: Proven experience delivering a 5-star / luxury hotel reception or front office service Previous supervisory/management experience in a hotel front office environment Strong leadership and communication skills with a guest-first mindset Calm under pressure, organised, and detail-focused Comfortable with hotel systems; HOP PMS experience is a strong advantage Flexibility to work evenings and weekends on a rota basis (nights cover may be required) Benefits
