Business Development Manager – Aviation Sales

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum + Commission + Benefits
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We’re proud to be recruiting for our valued client, a well-established aviation company, who are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join their growing team in Leeds.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives on building client relationships and driving business growth within the aviation industry.

The Role

As Business Development Manager in Aviation Sales, you’ll be responsible for generating new business, managing key accounts, and helping expand the company’s presence across the aviation sector.

You will identify opportunities, deliver tailored solutions to clients, and ensure excellent service from initial enquiry to completion. Full training and support will be provided by a Senior Development Manager for candidates who are keen to learn and develop their career.

Please note: The role offers a maximum salary of £30,000 per annum, plus commission.
Only candidates who meet the criteria and confirm acceptance of the salary package will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

* Generate and convert new business leads across the aviation market

* Build and maintain long-term client relationships

* Prepare and deliver competitive quotations and proposals

* Collaborate with senior management on large-scale contracts and tenders

* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction

* Meet and exceed sales, margin, and performance targets

* Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and activity

* Support finance with payment follow-ups where necessary

* Visit customers regularly to develop relationships and identify opportunities

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience in aviation sales or business development

* Strong understanding of procurement and commercial processes

* Confident, self-motivated, and able to work independently

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

* Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects

* Knowledge of the South Asian aviation market (advantageous)

* Timely turnaround of quotes and proposals
