Construction Assurance Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Assurance Manager to join a nationally significant infrastructure programme. This role involves supporting the assurance and delivery of large-scale civil engineering works across a major transportation project.
Working client-side, you’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of works, acting as a technical expert in constructability and supporting the administration of NEC3 contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide constructability assurance and specialist advice to project teams and NEC3 Project Managers.
* Conduct site-based reviews and safety inspections to ensure contractor compliance with UK regulations and internal policies.
* Support the NEC3 Supervisor and Project Manager in fulfilling their contractual obligations.
* Assist in the management of construction assurance across cross-contract interfaces.
* Ensure delivery is in accordance with Environmental Minimum Requirements, Undertakings and Assurances, and other regulatory frameworks.
* Promote and support health, safety, quality, and environmental excellence across all workstreams.
* Contribute to CDM assurance and readiness activities for Hold Point releases.
Requirements:
* Strong experience delivering or assuring large-scale civil engineering works (e.g. bridges, earthworks, tunnels, ground engineering).
* In-depth understanding of NEC3 contracts and Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
* Knowledge of construction safety practices and risk-based site assurance processes.
* A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or equivalent experience.
* Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across internal departments, contractors, and external bodies.
* Experience working on complex, multi-package infrastructure programmes is highly desirable.
