About the Role
Total Design Group are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to support both our small Accounts Department and the Groups Directors. This role will play a key part in maintaining smooth financial operations, enhancing administrative efficiency, and contributing to the ongoing development of our accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Support – Across the Groups Companies
* Maintain the account's payable function
* Process financial documentation
* Prepare and present payments
* Manage accounts archiving
* Support the development of the Groups accounting function alongside the Accounts Department and the Groups Directors.
Administration
* Provide administrative support to Groups Directors.
* Assist in improving administrative processes within the Accounts Department.
* Support the development and refinement of accounting software and systems.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Organised, efficient, and detail-oriented.
* Comfortable handling financial data and administrative responsibilities.
* Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
* Proactive in supporting process improvements.
* A strong communicator with good interpersonal skills.
Experience of using Sage 50 is essential along with a good knowledge of all Microsoft IT packages. Previous experience of construction management software such as Construction Manager would be an advantage.
