We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced Thai restaurant environment. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
* Take accurate food and drink orders using a point-of-sale system.
* Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
* Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests regarding menu items and specials, including up-selling where appropriate.
* Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
* Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards during food preparation and service.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
Skills
* Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent guest services.
* Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with familiarity in serving techniques and food safety practices.
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
* Time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tables during busy periods.
* Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous for understanding menu items and preparation methods.
* A proactive approach to up-selling menu items to enhance the guest experience.
