The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Comprehensive Pilates Teacher to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing and delivering tailored 1:1 and 2:1 Pilates sessions in client locations across London, adapting to individual goals, needs, and environments. This is a highly collaborative role, working alongside other Sway professionals to provide clients with a complete, premium wellness experience. Duties: • Deliver personalised mat and equipment Pilates sessions (Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Chair, Barrel) in private client spaces. • Conduct assessments to establish client goals and fitness baselines. • Design and implement progressive, individualised programmes. • Offer precise cueing and modifications to support clients of all abilities. • Monitor client progress and adjust training plans for continual results. • Foster a positive, professional training environment that balances challenge with support. • Collaborate with Sway’s wider team (Strength and Conditioning coaches, personal trainers, physiotherapists, massage therapists, psychotherapists) to ensure integrated care. • Educate clients on health, recovery, and lifestyle practices that support performance. • Keep accurate session notes and client progress records. • Represent Sway’s values of integrity, quality, ability and client-centred care at all times. Skills & Requirements: • Comprehensive Pilates Certification (Mat and all major equipment). • Minimum 3 years’ experience teaching Pilates to a diverse client base in private or semi-private settings. • Strong understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and safe progressions/regressions. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; clear cueing and supportive presence, with the ability to adapt coaching style to different client types. • Professionalism and flexibility to train in client homes and varied environments. • Collaborative mindset - aligned with Sway’s ethos of collaboration and integrity and a willingness to work as part of a multi-disciplinary wellness team. • Organised, punctual, and reliable with a commitment to high standards. • Naturally empathetic. • Personal Insurance. • First AID course (or willing to obtain). Desirable: • Experience with pre/post-natal, rehab, or movement therapy. • Additional knowledge in strength training, yoga, or mobility work. • Experience working with busy professionals or high-performing clients.
