An award-winning, boutique healthcare communications agency is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join its growing team on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid role, with flexibility around remote working and access to a lovely Central London office.

The agency works in disease areas such as oncology, neurology, rare diseases, respiratory, and others. đ The Role
As an Account Manager, youâll play a key role across a diverse portfolio of accounts, including the agency's oncology account, supporting both account management and content development. This is a genuinely hybrid role, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with Clients, but also has a keen eye for data, detail, and scientific information.
Youâll support the development of a wide range of materials, including:
* Symposia and scientific meetings
* Leave pieces and handouts
* Product launch materials
* Slide decks and meeting reports
đ© đŒ Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple projects calmly and confidently, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
* Development of scientifically accurate, compliant materials
* Act as a trusted day-to-day client contact, building strong and lasting relationships
* Coordinate internal teams (including digital and creative partners)
* Manage events such as symposia, standalone meetings, and webinars (including speaker management)
* Oversee budgets, tracking and reconciliation
* Use Veeva Vault PromoMats to upload, anchor, and manage materials through approval
* Contribute to agency initiatives and support continued business growth
đ About You
To be successful in this role, youâll bring:
* A degree-level qualification, ideally in a scientific subject
* 2-3+ yearsâ experience in an account handling role within a medical education or healthcare communications agency
* A strong medical education or communications background
* Excellent project management and organisational skills
* Strong writing and content development abilities
* A client-service mindset with exceptional attention to detail
* Understanding of the UK ABPI Code of Practice
* Confidence managing budgets and financials
* A collaborative, proactive approach within a fast-moving agency environment
