We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to be part of our maintenance team at The Hoxton, Southwark.
The Hoxton, Southwark is our third location in London, located near the South Bank. With 192 rooms, The Apartment (our unique meeting & events space), two restaurants: Albie (all-day dining) and Seabird (seafood rooftop with views of London), and our coworking space Working From_ spread over six floors, there’s something for everyone!

What you'll do...
* Manage overall hotel maintenance, costs, safety policies, and contractors
* Control maintenance budget and stock levels, ensure safety standards
* Implement effective PPM schedules
* Maintain plant rooms and manage contractor activities
* Order supplies, manage utility readings and water testing
* Keep records of machinery and equipment
* Assist with risk assessments and fire safety maintenance
* Coordinate quotations and communicate defects to management
* Ensure SOPs are followed, coach and develop the team
* Set objectives, monitor performance, and maintain inter-department relationships
* Identify process improvements, ensure health and safety compliance
* Participate in crisis and fire teams, handle HR documentation
* Manage departmental costs, project manage policy changes
* Deliver excellent customer service, cover shift engineer shifts as needed
What we're looking for...
* Strong communication and computer skills
* Experience in building management and MEP
* Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
* Facility management software proficiency
* Stock management expertise
* Project management experience including budgeting
* Team leadership skills with diverse skills
