Sales Account Manager – Motor Trade Partnerships Location: St Helens (onsite, full time) Salary: £30,000–£35,000 DOE Uncapped Commission (OTE £60,000) We are seeking an ambitious Sales Account Manager to join a fast-growing automotive business during a period of significant expansion. This newly created role focuses on building and managing relationships with motor trade partners, securing remarketing deals, and driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Develop new B2B relationships with garages, MOT centres, insurance companies, and other motor trade businesses. Negotiate and secure remarketing deals for MOT failures, insurance write-offs, and low-value part exchanges. Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts to maximise retention and profitability. Use technology platforms and CRM systems to streamline processes and close deals efficiently. Work closely with operations to ensure smooth vehicle logistics and aftersales service. Skills & Experience Required Commercially minded with proven sales success, ideally within the motor trade, automotive remarketing, or related B2B sectors. Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers in garages, MOT centres, and dealerships. Understanding of vehicle sourcing, valuation, or disposal processes is highly advantageous. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where ownership and initiative are key. Proficiency in CRM systems and mobile technology platforms for account management and reporting.
