Job Title: TIG Welder
Location: S6, Sheffield
Salary: £14.00 – £18.00 per hour (dependent on experience, with potential for higher rates based on skill level)
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable TIG Welder to join our team in the S6 area of Sheffield. This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds across a range of materials and projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to increase their hourly rate based on proven experience, capability, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel components
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Ensure all welds meet required quality and safety standards
* Carry out inspections and basic quality checks on completed work
* Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment
* Work independently as well as part of a team to meet production targets
Requirements:
* Proven experience in TIG welding (minimum 3 years preferred)
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Experience working with thin gauge materials (desirable)
* Relevant welding qualifications or certifications (advantageous but not essential)
* Good timekeeping and reliability
