You will deliver high standards of nursing care to substance misusers and be responsible for assessing care needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating care programs.
You will advocate for our clients, working closely with them to identify their physical, psychological, spiritual, and social support needs. The role involves working flexibly in various settings, promoting health and wellbeing while maintaining a safe, caring, and therapeutic environment. You will participate actively as a member of nursing and multidisciplinary teams, accountable for your practice, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, psycho-social case managers, patients, and others.
The role includes hospital liaison, administering vaccinations and medications, conducting health screenings such as phlebotomy, BBV screening, monitoring vital signs, withdrawal scales, and treatment compliance during detoxification.
