Hawes and Curtis seeks a Full-Time Assistant Manager for its Bluewater store.
Hawes & Curtis was established by Mr Ralph Hawes and Mr Freddie Curtis in 1913 and has been making the finest shirts for distinguished customers and royalty, notably HRH Prince of Wales and Earl Mountbatten. Today, the brand is known for its innovation, quality and ambition for growth.
We now require a bright and talented Assistant Manager [full-time 40 hrs] to help manage our up-and-coming Bluewater store. Immediate start is preferred. Previous tailoring experience is essential.
Duties will include, amongst others:
* Responsibility for opening and closing procedures
* Supervising the store team, working closely with Store Management
* Supervising stock/inventory
* Supporting Store Management to achieve sales targets and contribute towards the store's KPI results
* Providing excellent customer service and leading by example to maximise sales
* Providing strong duty management skills and supporting sales staff to achieve their goals
* To be considered for this position, you must have:
* Solid experience of at least 2 years working in a supervisory/store management position
* Previous tailoring experience is essential
* Experience of working within retail, preferably fashion retail
* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
* A keen eye for detail
* Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Excellent communication skills
* The ability to lead and motivate others
* Immediate start preferred
