The Person
* Must have or be willing to achieve the Social Services and Healthcare SCQF level 6 (equivalent to SVQ3) or equivalent within the first registration period to meet Scottish Social Services Council registration requirements.
* Ability to work both as part of a team and independently is essential.
* All candidates will receive necessary training, including Moving and Handling and mandatory training as per organizational requirements. Candidates must be physically fit to undertake all aspects of Moving and Handling and CALM training.
* Flexibility in working hours is necessary, with the role involving shifts during days, evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and wakened nights, including public holidays, Christmas, and New Year.
* Keyworker duties are required, including assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing individual support plans, along with maintaining accurate records of outcomes-focused support planning and reviews.
* Service induction and mandatory training will be provided.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration.
If appointed, you must start your application promptly to ensure registration within six months.
If you need to achieve a qualification to maintain your SSSC membership, information will be provided upon appointment. You must complete the qualification within the specified timeframe.
