Project Design Engineer
Role Summary:
The Project Design Engineer plays a key role in pre-engineering, system design, and project coordination within the UK office. You will support the sales process, lead technical design efforts, and assist in delivering high-quality fire suppression systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare technical quotations and support Sales Managers in closing orders.
* Design systems, perform hydraulic calculations, and issue accurate BOMs.
* Interpret technical/client specifications and manage project documentation.
* Assist in project planning, budgeting, and tracking to ensure timely, compliant delivery.
* Liaise with internal teams and attend customer/project meetings as needed.
* Ensure all work aligns with Ultrafog’s Quality Management System.
* Support UK market growth through technical assistance, exhibitions, and client visits.
Requirements:
* Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
* Background in fire suppression (sprinkler/watermist) or fire engineering.
* Proficient in AutoCAD; hands-on and practical approach.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to travel (UK and internationally); clean driving licence.
* Valid UK work visa; additional language skills are an advantage.
Salary dependent on level of experience
