Location: CCTV Control Room – Spennymoor
Contract Type: Part-time / Permanent
Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 2:00pm

Purpose of the Role
To support the effective enforcement of parking regulations across the car park estate by monitoring CCTV footage and accurately issuing Parking Charge Notices (PCNs). The CCTV Operative will be responsible for maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and professionalism while also reporting technical or health and safety issues. This role plays a vital part in upholding the company's reputation and ensuring fair and consistent parking enforcement.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor CCTV footage to identify and report parking violations, ensuring timely and accurate enforcement.
* Issue Parking Charge Notices (PCNs) in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
* Maintain accurate records to support appeals or legal proceedings.
* Regularly review your work for consistency and quality, seeking feedback for improvement.
* Report technical faults and health and safety concerns promptly, and follow internal safety protocols.
Key Skills & Experience
* Experience in CCTV or control room environments preferred (training provided).
* SIA Licence preferable but not essential.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to focus during repetitive tasks and periods of inactivity.
* Confident with surveillance software and reporting systems.
* Strong understanding of data protection and confidentiality.
* Effective communicator, able to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay Rates
* £13.46 per hour for applicants holding a valid SIA Licence.
* £12.74 per hour for applicants without an SIA Licence.
