Overview
Healthy Child Programme Assistant - 28 hours per week, 8 months
To provide a comprehensive administrative and clerical service and to provide support and assistance to staff in the Healthy Child Programme team (including Health Visitors, School Nurses, Community Nursery Nurses) and other clinicians. To work within clinic or community settings, group work, health promotion, including the ability to promote and safeguard the welfare of Children, Young People, and their families. Reviewing messages and emails, documenting and sharing key information, creating letters and following processes. The ability to prioritise workloads and communicate effectively is essential.
Responsibilities
* Using patient management systems.
* Working within a team to prioritise workloads.
* Maintaining confidentiality.
* Following processes for the health visiting and school nursing services.
* Signposting service users.
* Creating resources for health promotion displays.
